A builder quote is easier to review when groundworks, structure, brickwork, roofing, first fix, second fix, and finishes are separated. Grouping by package also makes omissions easier to spot before the price is sent.
Site setup, protection, access, scaffolding, waste, delivery, welfare, and project management are real costs. Include them as lines or allowances instead of hoping they disappear into the margin.
Extensions and renovations often need staged payments. State what triggers each stage, which items are allowances, and how variations will be agreed if the scope changes.
